![]() Very glad I gave this hack a second go with the new version. I also like all of the little touches in the menus, from the selected brother being the one at the top of the screen to them changing their overall color or expression to match your graphics or difficulty selection. I haven't gotten the chance to try Luigi, just the base Mario, but he's a great option to have. And the best part is that if you don't like those changes, you can choose the original sprites and still get the colorized experience. They both better resemble the official art and help the new Mario sprite feel more cohesive with the experience. What I also didn't realize was that Version 2 does a much more extensive job to re-draw the game's objects and enemies. I didn't notice it when the hack came out (even though the description mentions it, oops), but the Mario sprites were redrawn to make them more proportionate with the classic style sprite, and it looks much nicer than in Version 1. The ROM hack is the other half of what you need to play a ROM hack. Download the ROM of the game required to patch. As a patch, it’s only one of the things you’ll need to play the game. When you get touched by an enemy, the address C35A changes to FF. Download the patch for the hack you’d like to play. Theres another custom Snes9x build by FuSoYa for Super FX2 games. and despite what I thought I would do, I actually played on the new graphics mode, not the old graphics mode. During normal gameplay, the RAM address C35A has a value of 0. However, it doesnt play nicely with nonstandard SNES cartridges. Bumping this thread to say that, after over a month, I finally got to play the new version of Land DX. ![]()
